A Sustainable Transformation journey has six stages or pillars. The starting point should be to establish a baseline (no matter how low). Over time, this will show the trajectory of your sustainability and de-carbonisation initiatives, as well as exposing gaps in your existing data set-up.

Sustainability Strategy
Without a roadmap of where you are going, how do you know your progress, or that you are going in the right direction? Establishing a roadmap, starts with knowing where you are currently. We leverage leading Saas 2.0 technology Digitopia to help you rapidly assess your current sustainability maturity, set targets of where you want to get to and include expert recommendations on how to prioritise initiatives for achieving your targets. With Digitopia and Sustainabil-IT, we deliver a “living strategy” with regular check-ins to measure progress, adapt to changes and stay aligned to goals.
Education
Sustainability is a very broad topic and involves a lot of key areas, from sustainability standards and reporting, legislation, carbon accounting, sustainability planning and implementation, Diversity Equity & Inclusion, Circular Economy, Sustainable Finance, Sustainable Operations and Supply Chain. As a founding Faculty Member of the Institute of Sustainability Studies, we offer a Faculty discount for the ISS Online Diploma course which is UK-University accredited, and offer bespoke classroom 5-day sprints of the 12-week online course together with fellow Faculty member and global SDG Award winner Melina Taprantzi.

Data Strategy & Acquisition
“What gets measured gets done”. Sustainability requires data to be captured, in order to understand your full scope of Carbon Emissions across Scopes 1, 2 & 3. While Scopes 1 & 2 are relatively easy, Scope 3 involves working with your supply chain and also identifying and closing data gaps that may exist (e.g. Category 7 Employee Commutes). With the wrong data strategy, you can end up with a heavy data entry workload, with the right strategy, you can combine multiple sources of data to maximise automation.
Carbon Management
A Carbon Management system of record is fast-becoming essential to doing business. Large customers are required to report their Scope 3 (Supply Chain) emissions and will require a certified carbon footprint and de-carbonisation targets from their suppliers. We are partners with carbonfit, a leading Saas 2.0 provider of carbon management, that provids a secure system of record and together, we provide you with de-carbonisation initiatives that allow you to align to the SBTI global NetZero standard.

CSRD and CSDDD
The incoming Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive place a large workload on organisations to report on over 1000 data points and have these externally verified, and to perform due diligence on their supply chain globally to ensure they are in compliance to EU environmental and human rights legislation. This requires a secure system of record that is auditable, allows for progress on CSRD to be monitored and accelerated, and automated scoring for supplier due diligence responses.
Ecovadis
Sustainabil-IT are a certified consulting and training partner for Ecovadis, the world’s most widely-used and most accessible ESG ratings provider. We assist with your initial certification, implementation of sustainaiblity intiatives to fulfil Ecovadis recommendations and with your re-certification. Ecovadis operate a rating system that goes from “committed” to bronze, silver, gold and platinum. Sustainabil-IT get you on the podium.
